The Scole Experiments, Quantum Reincarnation And The Search For Immortality
OK so we have all heard of reincarnation, and I would imagine that most of us will not only be interested in the possibility, but also hopeful that is true. To live again and maybe again, maybe this would prove to actually be immortality.

Just one such case is the James Linegar story, who clearly remembered his past life as a Second World War pilot. Reincarnation - A Meeting Of Ancient Mysticism And Modern Science?
So what actually is reincarnation?
One theory is that it is more scientific than has previously been given credit for. While some argue that the soul is what makes us divine and indeed human, the quantum theory of reincarnation is that the soul is basically electrical energy – atoms and particles that are dispelled from the body and into the atmosphere around them upon death.
This makes a certain amount of sense. The theory that aspects of the paranormal can be explained scientifically in terms of energy has been put forward before to explain things such as ghost sightings. It has been suggested that a "ghost" might be the energy, physical energy, of the person that remains.
Some ancient cultures spoke of themselves as “going to live among the stars" upon death. Could it be that the soul as particles of energy might indeed leave the Earth’s atmosphere and literally become part of space and space matter – essentially living among the stars. Were these ancient perceptions of the afterlife more scientific than we give them credit for?

Quantum reincarnation works in much the same way. Energy particles leave the body upon death and are projected into the atmosphere. Remember these particles are essentially the soul and contain our memories, knowledge, maybe even our traits and personality. These quantum soul particles, assuming they stay on Earth, in theory at least, end up in an embryo and at times, the energy also implants memories of it’s past life into it’s new one.
Far-fetched as this theory is, and there are still many questions as to the whys and hows of such a theory, it is very interesting.

The Scole Experiments, November 1993
The Scole experiment from the early 1990s looked to also answer the question of the after life, and has people divided as to whether it was a clever hoax or some of the most scientific proof that there is a soul and life after death.
It was carried out in November 1993 in the small English country village of Scole, and was aimed at providing “real” evidence of life after death. Proof that human beings did indeed have a soul that existed in the “after life.” They too were looking to prove this using the theory that energy was the key.
They were led by Robin Foy, who had himself studied this particular field for decades prior to these experiments and was a member of the respected Society for Physical Research.
A seemingly genuine effort was made to ensure that it was clear there was no tampering or trickery at work.

The table they used to conduct their séance and make their circle was purposely chosen so that it went to the ground and did not permit any of the participants to interfere with any part of the experiment in this manner.
Everyone who sat at the table even wore illuminous loom bands so that their hands could be seen all the time.
As a further, almost bizarre experiment in itself, an unused roll of camera film was sealed in a box and then locked before the experiment went ahead. If there was an afterlife maybe it would show itself on the film.
There were a large number of sitters at these séances and the phenomena witnessed was consistent.
However, sceptics argue that these investigations were flawed, mainly in that all of the controls that were put in place were agreed to and controlled by the medium and not the investigators. Even the loom bands that the mediums wore was said to be “an old trick” and that they had been provided by the mediums and not even investigated or tested by the investigators involved. The tests have been recreated by these sceptics also leading them to insist that they know “how they did it!”
Opinion remains divided with others saying it is one of the best offerings of proof of life after death, and that the soul has the ability to interact with the living.

Some people insist that you can easily fake the pictures the Scole experiment offered as further proof of life after death – in particular the pattern type images that could be done by use of chemicals. Others though insist the pictures are genuine proof of intense energy in the room, and the face itself offered as proof of a soul making itself known.
As long as human beings are alive they will be interested in what happens after death. Will we go on as a Soul? Will we live again? And if you look at cryogenics and the real possibility of “living again” through scientific advancements, will we ever achieve what humans have truly hungered for since the dawn of time, immortality?
